THANKS FOR THE EXPERIENCE
I would be remissed if I didn't extend my gratitude and my appreciation regarding everything that I was so privy to this summer. From the first exhibit in Harlem at the Schomberg Library where I examined borders, the borders that exist regarding African people it allowed me to reexamine my own existence in this country as well as my place in the whole world being black. When I visited Philadelphia "The City of Brotherly Love" and I got to examine a plethora of interesting things from "What Determines Race" to "Measure of a Man" all of which furthered my own personal journey in life while expanding my own psyche. All of the exhibits only helped me with my Summer School experience also. Due to the fact that it gave me sources for my essay reports all of which I received A's on thanks for the grades Ms. Porsha Childs and Professor Saint Jean. The extra credit paper I did on Hottentot Venus received a check plus and my Professor wanted me to mail her a copy of my report because she found it so intriguing. By the time I got to view The Museum of Natural History I didn't have any idea at the time that my paper regarding my view of that exhibit, would be my final exam in my Psycholgy 101 class; but it was. I felt like the luckiest guy in all of CUNY and I probable was. I am so grateful for every thing that I experienced this summer this project helped me in so many ways, I am a became a student and I am sure a better person because of it as well. Thank you again Ms. Childs and Prof. Saint Jean.
