I would like to thank the Professor and Miss Childs for the introduction to history, science, war, the evolution of nations and, art from the viewpoint of philosophy. It was very exciting to see the contributions from so many sciences, both in portraying the facts as they are, or were, and they certainly did a marvelous though expensive job.

Let digrest for a moment and explore the concept of the word black; many feel that this signifies uncertainty, danger, unknown, excitement, fear, etc, and that the word itself is denigrating. The word comes from another language and is 'niger', meaning a black color. What men fear they usually come to detest or hate, and this may have originally been the start of hatred toward Africans.

When Africans went to Europe seeking adventure, jobs, different environment, there was resentment partly because they may have taken jobs that some segment of society in Europe may have desired. The different color of their skin may have aroused this resentment to some extent. There is a significant number of older white people that will always be racial, but they are a diminishing breed.

Most people realize that to be yellow, red, white or black is the result of diet, environment, and of course ancestors, as we saw that there are black Japanese.

Life on earth takes a randomness that is evident in everything and everywhere. Any possible combination that atoms may take, they will, and this extends even to relationships among animals, and everything, everywhere.

We saw that there are quite a number of environments; aquatic, aerial, tree-top, intestinal, etc.

Man is a product of his environment, and has utilized whatever was available to survive and to survive better. The fact that the environment is now threatening his survival is alarming, however, it is felt that nature which normally has a way of restoring things will demonstrate a way to fix this problem once it becomes critical.
